Our research assistants Karen and Hannah have been conducting discourse analysis into dialogues surrounding dance created by/for disabled artists. The discourse analysis has focussed primarily on four key areas: Media reviews, publicity materials, artists' blogs and YouTube commentary.

Karen and Hannah delivered a summary of the findings at this early stage to the rest of the team at our team meeting on 26th September 2013, and some interesting finding were observed. We will continue with this analysis, while the raw data has been sent to our other team members for their analysis.
